Teens Share Powerful Art and Writing on Growing Up in Today’s Political Climate
What’s it like to grow up in today’s political world? That’s the question we asked teens last fall, and their answers—through art, writing, and videos—are nothing short of inspiring. Over 5,500 young people from around the globe joined the conversation, sharing their thoughts on everything from their political values to how they navigate today’s information overload. From there, we challenged them to create something that captured their experiences. The result? Over 1,600 entries, each offering a unique glimpse into what it means to come of age in this moment. One standout piece is Jayden Kim’s video, *Kimchi Fried Rice*, which uses food and family as a lens to explore identity and belonging. Other submissions include powerful essays, striking artwork, and even audio pieces that tackle issues like climate change, social justice, and the impact of technology on their lives. As a new administration takes office in the U.S., we’re excited to share a selection of these works. Whether you’re a teen yourself or just curious about how young people see the world, there’s something here for everyone. Take a moment to explore the collection. Let the creativity and honesty of these young voices spark your own reflections. And don’t forget to leave a comment—your thoughts could mean the world to these budding artists and writers. So, what are you waiting for? Dive in and see the world through their eyes. ---
