A well-known pro-Russia figure from Ukraine, Armen Sarkisyan, was killed in a bomb blast at a Moscow apartment complex on Monday, as reported by Russian media. Sarkisyan, who founded a separatist battalion fighting in eastern Ukraine, passed away in a hospital after the explosion, the reports claimed, citing Russian authorities.

The incident occurred at the upscale Scarlet Sails complex, leaving one person dead on the spot and injuring four others, according to Russia's Investigative Committee. Sarkisyan was among those hospitalized but later succumbed to his injuries, while his bodyguard died at the scene.

While the motive behind the blast remains unclear, it’s suspected to be part of a series of attacks targeting individuals opposed to Kyiv. Ukrainian officials have yet to comment on the incident, adding to the mystery.

This isn’t the first time Moscow has seen such violence. In December, a Russian general was killed in a bombing claimed by Ukraine, further escalating tensions.
