A federal judge has thrown out a lawsuit against the Alexander brothers—Alon, Oren, and Tal—who are facing multiple sexual assault allegations. The judge ruled that the accuser, Angelica Parker, missed the deadline to file her claim, marking a small win for the brothers amid ongoing legal battles.
Ms. Parker, 38, accused Tal and Alon Alexander of assaulting her at a Manhattan apartment in 2012, with Oren allegedly present during the incident. She filed her lawsuit in June 2024, but the judge determined that the statute of limitations had expired. While New York City had extended the filing window, a state-level extension required her to submit her claim by the end of 2023. As a result, the case was dismissed.
Despite this setback, other lawsuits and criminal cases against the brothers are still moving forward. The trio, once prominent figures in the real estate world, are currently in federal custody in Brooklyn and have been denied bond. Oren and Tal Alexander were known for brokering high-end properties in Miami and New York, while Alon, Oren’s twin, was a familiar face in the social scenes of both cities.
Lawyers representing Ms. Parker and other accusers expressed disappointment but vowed to continue pursuing justice. The ruling highlights the complexities of legal timelines in such cases, even as the broader fight against the brothers’ alleged misconduct continues.
