A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Brooklyn on Tuesday afternoon when a 15-year-old boy, Heath Campbell, was fatally shot at his apartment building in East Flatbush. The tragedy has left the community reeling as police continue to investigate.
According to authorities, officers responded to a 911 call around 3 p.m. and found Heath in the lobby of the Rutland Road Houses with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, a 16-year-old boy was discovered on the third floor with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. He was rushed to Brookdale Hospital and is currently in stable condition.
